You feel it before anyone sees it.
Pick up most chains and they weigh almost nothing: hollow links under a thin skin of plating. Ours are solid 316L steel, link by link, finished in 18k gold and closed with a box clasp that locks flat. It has weight on your chest, and it stays where you put it.
The rule
Nothing hollow. Nothing loud. Nothing you have to take off.
No logo on the clasp, no stones that need explaining, no plating that leaves a mark. Five pieces, made for the gym, the office and the wedding — and forgotten about in between.
What it's made of
Solid 316L steel
Every link is solid metal, never hollow. Steel doesn't rust, doesn't bend out of shape and doesn't mind the shower.
18k gold, bonded
The gold is bonded to the steel by PVD — vapour, not a dip — so the finish wears with the piece instead of flaking off it.
A clasp that locks flat
A box clasp with a safety catch. It closes with a click, sits flat on the skin and doesn't spin round to the front.
